Museum in Bhaktapur

The museum helps to increase our knowledge. It also helps to know the history. In bhaktapur city there are about 4 museums. They are located at 1 in durbar square, 2 are in dattatraya and 1in changunarayan. The ticket of museum is very low. It cost only Rs 5 for student. If we take a ticket in durbar square the other 2 area at dattatraya in free to visit. In the museum of durbar square there many traditions clothes which is wear by kings and other is weapon which is used by the kings. There are also many more shoes and photos of kings. But at Dattatraya it kept only kitchen material like in Newari word: Luta, khola, Gagri, paisa, Khukuri, knife etc and some musical instrument. But in Changunarayan museum there are many interesting things are kept by carefully. Like weapons, kings dresses,folk song,inscription, musical instrument and many more. These all are kept in the period of king mandev. Because of the Changunarayan was made in king Mandev period.

Tourism year in Bhaktapur

In the bhaktapur there are specially 4 gates enter the city. They are chayamasingh gate, indrayani gate, makahakisthan gate, and other is ram mandir gate. These 4 gates are way to enter the city to visit different historical and religious places of bhaktapur. In 2011 the tourism year was celebrated very nicely. The municipality has also increase the price , rate also. Similarly the facility has also increase to serve the tourist.
