In the bhaktapur there are specially 4 gates enter the city. They are chayamasingh gate, indrayani gate, makahakisthan gate, and other is ram mandir gate. These 4 gates are way to enter the city to visit different historical and religious places of bhaktapur. In 2011 the tourism year was celebrated very nicely. The municipality has also increase the price , rate also. Similarly the facility has also increase to serve the tourist. In the first day the people wear local dress like haku patasi, bhadgaunlae topi, daura surwal and other more. The people also show the newari culture like lakhe nach, bhadrakali nach, nagancha nach etc. the people has also exhibition different types of picture like local dresses, musical instrument, newari food and other instrument. In the tourism year people keep the city neat and clean.
