Museum in Bhaktapur

The museum helps to increase our knowledge. It also helps to know the history. In bhaktapur city there are about 4 museums. They are located at 1 in durbar square, 2 are in dattatraya and 1in changunarayan. The ticket of museum is very low. It cost only Rs 5 for student. If we take a ticket in durbar square the other 2 area at dattatraya in free to visit. In the bhaktapur there are specially 4 gates enter the city. They are chayamasingh gate, indrayani gate, makahakisthan gate, and other is ram mandir gate. Culture of Bhaktapur

In bhaktapur there are many culture and festivals. Those cultures denote the people. Especially in bhaktapur there are many festivals and culture. Such as the big festival Dashain, Tihar, Bisket Jatra, Yomari Puni, Pulukisi, Maghe Sangrati etc. these festivals are very interesting and nice also. People enjoyed their self. The people blessed to the god.   The dashain festival is specially celebrated in 15 days. In 15 days people go to temple and they take a feast. They met their friend and relatives and take a feast. Similarly the other festival is Tihar. This festival was celebrated in only 5 days. The last day or 5^th day is very important. Because in this day brother and sister worship each other. So it also called bhaitika. In the tihar festival the dog, cow, crow are also worshipped by all Nepali people. Similarly the bisket

jatra is also celebrated in 7 days. Bisket jatra is a very dangerous jatra.

Occupation of Bhaktapur.

        The peasant is very busy in the working seasons. There are many occupations in Bhaktapur. Like agriculture, beekeeping, husbandry, fish farming, pig farming etc. but one of the famous occupations is agriculture. So they work in the fields from dawn to dusk. So Bhaktapure people are very talent and worked hardly. The peasants generally follow the traditional methods of cultivation. The produce of their land is not high. In every sector of work they helped by their wives, children and each other. They work with spades and hoes. The peasents or the plains plough their fields with the help of oxen, while those of the hills and sometimes they dig their fields with spades.
