Occupation of Bhaktapur.

        The peasant is very busy in the working seasons. There are many occupations in Bhaktapur. Like agriculture, beekeeping, husbandry, fish farming, pig farming etc. but one of the famous occupations is agriculture. So they work in the fields from dawn to dusk. So Bhaktapure people are very talent and worked hardly. The peasants generally follow the traditional methods of cultivation. The produce of their land is not high. In every sector of work they helped by their wives, children and each other. They work with spades and hoes. The peasents or the plains plough their fields with the help of oxen, while those of the hills and sometimes they dig their fields with spades. But sometimes they dig their fields by the help of cows, oxen goats and sheep. These animals help them in their work and they are a source of small income. So the only one source of income is agriculture.
